How to install BigBrotherBot on Linux/Ubuntu

Please follow step-by-step

Commands and Links:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install apache2

apt-get install python

Code: Select all

apt-get install python-mysqldb

sudo apt-get install mysql-server php5-mysql

sudo mysql_install_db

Code: Select all

sudo mysql_secure_installation

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-mcrypt

Then, test your host.. open your browser and run this link http://your-ip-address

apt-get install phpmyadmin

Run phpmyadmin http://your-ip-address/phpmyadmin and create a datababse for B3. And import the sql file from "/xxxx/b3/sql.b3.sql"

Upload all files info your hosting and rename the folder "bot"

Create config file: http://config.bigbrotherbot.net/form.php?parser=cod4

Put the b3.xml file into your hosting directory "/bot/b3/config"

Now run this command

python /bot/b3_run.py -c /bot/b3/conf/b3.xml

Run B3 Command

python ./bot/b3_run.py

For Super Admin

After running B3 type in your game console "!iamgod"

B3 always target the game log file, be careful. If your game log does not create you need to edit game startup command.
